Since its inception, ITPL has been continuously upgrading technology and expanding production capacity to keep up with current trends in the packaging industry.
ITPL set up its first plant at Sohna, Gurgaon where it started manufacture of PET plastic bottles and jars via single-stage Injection Stretch Blow Molding (ISBM) technology. In 1994, ITPL pioneered the use of two-stage blow molding machines from Sidel, France in India. These machine were used for manufacturing carbonated soft drinks bottles in large numbers, cost effectively.
ITPL has recently set up a sprawling manufacturing facility at Rudrapur, Uttaranchal. This plant is equipped with state-of-the art machines of Single Stage technology of Nissei ASB, Aoki of Japan and two-stage technology from Sidel, France. The plant is also equipped with injection molding machines from DGP Windsor, India and Ferromatik Milacron, Europe which are used for manufacturing caps for pet bottles and jars. The plant is totally self-sufficient in power with stand-by generating capacity of 1100 KW.
